Here is the lnk to the list of the Greenest countries in the world according to the Columbia-Yale Environmental Index. CLICK HERE
Let's just say we don't stack up too well, no 46 to be precise.
Obviously this is a pre Kyoto signing figure but we can't expect us signing Kyoto to be the magical fix. Ironically we are one of the few countries even close to meeting Kyoto targets. This index is much broader and is an overall assessment of behaviour. (Ill post the criteria when i can find them, they changed them from last year)
Here's hoping we can leap frog a few people next year, NZ is in the top 10, that is where we should and will be.
