Orble Posts Giving me NIGHTMARES...Is the end of the World Really coming?

A few weeks ago I was doing just fine, the world is in order and all was good; then an Orble post reminded me of an issue I had come across on my travels in Mexico a few years beforehand -
Click Here to check out the post - The Mayan Calendar - was one of the first accurate calendars ever made - and it ends in 2012. Many people believe this signifies the date of the end of the World. At the time I came to believe- and when I read the Orble post I reminded myself of - the theory, that it doesn't have to signify the end of the world, just the end of the current Epoch and could just be the end of the World as we know it...... so great change is coming, change is good right?
Then came an Orble post about the Disappearing Honey Bees which I found most disturbing -

No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man." ~ Albert Einstein
The last two nights I have been waking in a cold cold sweat and having hideous nightmares, if the Bees keep disappearing at the same rate they have been, then they could theoretically be gone by next year, if it only takes four years without bees for the world to end then IS THE END OF THE WORLD really COMING...2008 4 = 2012 ................could those little Mayans have been right....maybe they planted some sophisticated Mayans bombs way back then or maybe they started the decline of the Bees knowing it would come to a ead now........ aaagggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I know that the big change could be us adjusting to some sort of life without bees and we could start eating those Protein Pills out of the computer oven like on the Jetsens..... but I am freaked.....
