A Climate Diet that is.
Here is a great link I found to a website that has loads of quick and easy tips on how you can contribute towards a better environment with very little effort. I know we all want to help and it can be difficult to know where to start, every little bit does help, every spec adds up.[/LINK] CLICK HERE
Here is a brief Synopsis of what the site is about, yeah I think we probably are supposed to buy the book or something to get all the information but there is enough free stuff on the website to get something out of it for the planet.
This is my favourite part of their philosophy

Here is a brief Synopsis of what the site is about, yeah I think we probably are supposed to buy the book or something to get all the information but there is enough free stuff on the website to get something out of it for the planet.
The purpose of this site is to inform the general public about the challenge of human-caused climate change, and to introduce quick and easy strategies that we can all use to reduce our impact on the climate. Yes, our global warming crisis is serious. Scientific evidence proving the relationship between the human production of heat trapping greenhouse gasses and a persistent increase in global mean temperature is overwhelming. However, scientists also believe that if we collectively act now, we can slow the damaging impact of warming on our climate, for both ourselves and future generations.
This is my favourite part of their philosophy
The Climate Diet's consistent message is: just consume less. And when we do need to buy something, consciously choose products and services that have the smallest environmental impact and are built to last. Resist the lure of thousands of marketing cues that bombard our senses each and every day. Instead of taking your kids to the mall, why not enjoy an evening at home or a leisurely walk along your favorite nature trail? Reconnect with your friends and family. Talk with your spouse or significant other. Smell the roses.

Oh yeah, music to my ears ... as I rub my hands together waiting for the manderines, cherry tomatoes and squash to ripen in the garden ... mmm so fresh and tasty when homegrown ... so I would add that we should all supplement our intake with some home grown things, even cheery tomatoes grown on the balcony pot can help your health and the planets worsening situation ... and Ive seen some great capsicum come along on an innercity windowsill... there is just no excuse, only laziness ...
Another great Post, Louie...
Cheers
