Feeling overwhelmed that little old you just can't make a difference in the battle for the environment and climate change.
Well a leading environmentalist has made a great analogy in London recently that I thought I would share.
Next time I feel overwhelmed ill think renegade mosquito and ATTACK!!!

Well a leading environmentalist has made a great analogy in London recently that I thought I would share.
Oxford University professor Norman Myers has a message that might help you square your shoulders and face the future. (Click on the quote to get to full story.)
"If you feel you are too small to make a difference then you haven't been in bed with a mosquito," Myers said.
In other words, Myers told a meeting in London on climate change, individual actions really can make a cumulative difference to cutting the carbon emissions that drive climate change just like the tiny mosquito which can keep everyone in the house awake with its ceaseless whine.

Glaring little site u have dear, couldn't you do it in a nice ice blue?
Well done, all that environmental stuff, know nothing about it myself except that Mother seems to be getting into it, the poor staff, all that sorting or rubbish and buying everything in paper bags. You know how it is.
Weren't they against paper use once, now it's plastic. Oh, well.

I think that anyone who thinks that they cannot make a difference is either (a) plain lazy, (b) brainwashed by a cult, (c) too far gone on a diet rich in chemicals and additives to be able to care, or (d) watches too many current affairs shows, instead of acting; (e) all four.
Everyone counts in this game, no doubts about it... and for the record, I still can't kill a mosquitto, even a buzzing one at midnight, I just respect life too much.
